About us
I discovered Havanese in the Dog Fancy magazine in 1995. I thought they looked like stuffed toy dogs! Since my family loves dogs so much we decided to get our first Havanese, a female from Florence Small from Georgia. Of course, no one can just stop at one Havanese, so we decided to get a male from Rena Westerhoff in Michigan. Both of the breeders were very helpful for many years and helped us with the start of breeding this wonderful little toy breed, the Havanese.
I am Donna Bianchi and would love for people who are interested in Havanese to come to our house and see them. My goal is to improve the breed and keep the wonderful temperaments. I seek the help and advice of other breeders who feel the same way. I want the people who buy my puppies to think of them as family members and show them the love and kindness that they deserve.
Our Havanese live in our house and they are part of our lives. They are treated as little furry kids and are loved very much. All of our dogs are health tested for patellas, eyes, hearing, cardiac and hips. We breed for health and conformation to the AKC standard.
We live 30 miles southwest of Chicago in a wonderful, pet friendly neighborhood. This is our house.
